I removed the rear caliper to get to the rear tire replacement. The slide pins for the pads are all rusted and gunked up and so are the caliper pistons. I'm ordering a caliper rebuild kit, the question is in cleaning the slide pins and pistons, which is better, a fine sandpaper or emory clothe? I don't want to scar the pistons. Any help with this will be great!!!
Edit: OK I just found the "how to" for the rear caliper for the GL1100 and it looks to be the same caliper, I didn't see it before.
