Starter 84 Aspencade???...

Hi guys, is it possible to service starter without pulling motor?...Starter motor fine, I suspect reduction gears...Thanx...

Yes....The engine does not have to be removed...
It will take some fiddling to get it out...
Be sure you use a 10mm wrench behind the battery cable so you don't twist the stud loose and break the internal wire.
Have a read through this post....It applied to my 84 interstate only...Other models can be a bit different on how the starter can be removed.
