Purchasing a 1200 interstate

Does anyone have any tips for me? I just got rid of my Harley to purchase the 1200 and there are dials and controls I have no idea what they era for.

most of the buttons and dial thingy knobs are just adjustments for the drivers preferences.
Usually not used while riding,other than the radio stuff,If you even use it.
I've got some 30 various buttons,dials and switches on my 1500.The 1200 doesn't have quite as many.
Normally,once set,few of them need to be messed with.
You should have the basics
IGNITION SWITCH
START BUTTON
KILL SWITCH
TURN SIGNAL
HEADLIGHT SWITCH
HORN BUTTON.( which can be replaced by the middle finger If needed)
Download the user manual and look for the others.
Some odd ball things.......
The turn knob on the left side of the faring......it adjusts the headlight up or down a bit.
Most of the rest of it is controls for the radio,lights,horn,intercom,CB etc,etc....
If you have a unknown button,just ask here about it...I'm quite positive someone has one too and knows exactly what it's for.
