Hi All,
New '84 Aspencade owner here, but a lot of work to do before I am riding it.
First question is, are there spacers between the bottom of the rear trunk and the rack it attaches to?
the PO had put one of the trunk relocator brackets on and the attaching hardware was a mix of screws and bolts and spacers. So I don't know what the stock attachment is, and I am not sure I have it identified right in the Parts Diagrams.
It looks like it would just be the four bolts through the bottom of the trunk into the welded-on nuts in the rack. But should there be spacers, besides the rubber grommet the bolt goes through, between the bottom of the trunk and the rack?
Thanks in advance,
Ed

Re: Stock Trunk Installation
Hi, I just installed a trunk relocation plate on my Wing,
the spacers go between the plate and the stock rack, if you are installing the trunk without the relocation plate then you don't need the spacers.
the trunk mounts straight onto the stock frame with just the 4 bolts.

Re: Stock Trunk Installation
great, thanks. I didn't want to crack it because I missed spacers.
