Carbs rebuilt and synced
She is still not running right. Sluggish, and almost sounds like its not hitting on all 4. A little hiss on the way back down from 4000 rpm. Could it be timing?? Or did I trust the wrong guy to do my carbs?? Help please. 85,000 miles, and ran fine until it got some sand in the tank. Everything is new, fuel pump (87 prelude mod) new filter, lines, and a clean tank. What gives? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated ( 1984 Aspencade)

While your running badly, add or feather the "choke" and see if it smooths out.

Thanks. I read through it. I'm trying to find someone besides a dealer to do some trouble shooting for me. I'm not up to ripping into it to be dissapointed again.

I read at least one suggestion between the referenced post and the response that are troubleshooting tips to try and determine where you look next.
If you were looking for a mechanic type to help you might want to edit your post to say that in the header.

I've done everything I'm able to do. I found a guy who is going to look at it. H is baffeled also. Spark, fuel, and air. Still not burning hot enough on 1 cylinder on each side??

Re: Carbs rebuilt and synced
Which cylinders are not getting hot? Good spark to them? Possibly not enough fuel getting to the cylinders? It is possible when they were rebuilt the float levels were not set right. If this is the case it means pulling them again.
