Left side Cover

Postby ScooterMoose » Mon May 06, 2013 9:54 pm

Hello everyone, This is my full year with my 1984 GL1200A I am still trying to figure out this bike. I recently lost the Left Side Battery Cover while driving to work. I retraced my route to no avail. I searched E-Bay for the cover which I found some priced anywhere from $100.00 to $260.00 alot more than I wan to pay for one Why are they so much more than a right side cover???? Does anyone know of any other avenues in finding one cheaper?

Nope. A few people have talked of producing and selling them, but I haven't seen anyone succeed. Your only real option is to bite the bullet, buy a used one for as cheap as you can find, and then immediately purchase a set of Rudy's "Keepers" to make sure it never happens again. :)
