Driver's backrest

Post by Senkoguy1 » Sun May 19, 2013 5:17 pm

Hello Folks,,

I have a 1986 Aspencade and several of the accessories came in a big box when I bought it. The only thing left to reinstall is the driver's backrest. It has a tube down each side but I can't seem to find a pic or any info on how it mounts to the side of the seat. I believe I'm missing the clamps to reattach it. Can anyone post a close-up pic so I can get an idea how it goes?. Not many Goldwings around here to look at.
Thanx, George

If you go to this link, you will see a pic of the whole backrest set up. You appear to be missing the two brackets that attach to the bike.

Thank you very much for that link. It turns out I had the clamps in the box I got with the bike that the link showed but didn't recognize them for what they were. Again,, thank you very much.
