Hi can I use a automotive solenoid or do you got to use ome one Thanks

The solenoid is just a very large electromechanical switch....Theoretically ANY solenoid will work if it has the proper terminals for wiring..
The original is designed to fit in the tight space and has a 'built in' fuse link....I usually bypass the dog bone fuse link anyways,so that just leaves me with a switch....Battery in,start out and the 2 wires to operate the solenoid....
Be aware that some solenoids at the auto store use the case for the ground of the coil part..You don't want one of them.No neutral safety...It MUST have isolated wires for the coil.....some old style solenoids had 2 small terminals...one went to the start switch and the other to the ignition coil....Not what you need either.
