clutch lever adjustment on 85 le

is it possible to adjust clutch lever on 85 LE, want to move it closer to the grip.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
The levers are non-adjustable and may break if bent under force.

I've "adjusted" a brake lever by heating it with a torch and gradually bending it, but on the clutch you will likely run out of play, and no longer be able to declutch if you adjust it this way.

Just reviving an older post..
I am recovering from a broken wrist and was really struggling to use the clutch, it was engaging way further out than what I could comfortably deal with.
I just took out the push rod from between the clutch lever and master cylinder, filed off about 3/32 " and re assembled.
Yay me, can ride the bike again.
