Poorboy Kits

Post by steve allen » Sat Jun 29, 2013 9:37 pm

Okay, I know its been awhile since I've last been on here, okay, I just replaced my 87 Aspencade motor with a 86 Aspencade motor with half the miles of old motor and what a job! I ordered a new stator, replaced it,(trying to avoid problems) and believe it or not, new stator is bad. I can't pull motor again, it was really more than I can deal with. Now, as much as I hate it, I am going to try Poorboy conversion. Where to get one, easy to follow instructions, and so on? I am frustrated right now, I worked so hard changing motors to have this to happen. Thanks for any advice........Steve

Contact "goldwinger1984@yahoo.com".
This is a great kit, everything fits perfectly if you buy the correct alternator and belt.
The last I seen the kit was $215.00 plus $15.00 for shipping in the US.
Not a hard job for the average backyard mechanic. I'm a day or two away from completing mine, just waiting for the alternator.
If you PM me I can send a pdf file with step-by-step directions including pictures.

Ride Safe,
