Leaking from where? Bowl gasket, carb throat? Makes a difference on what service is needed.

looks like it is coming from the seal between the bowl. runs like a champ ,just leaks from that area. the old girl is a labor of love to speak of. Any advice would be great.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Have you checked the needle and seat for wear or damage?
Is the float height within specs?

Tileguy, welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. You may be able to make some adjustments without rebuilding, but once you get it apart you might change your mind. But it's a good place to start.

Thanks a lot, I will play with the needles & flots. Carbs are not that hard to remove & reinstall as many times as i have done it on this bike. Started out with changing needles, & last year was a stator. Not to hateful for what is involved.

Be aware it could be leaking at the plenum and leaking to the bowl and dripping off. If your taking them off best to fill them up on the bench and make certain where exactly.
