Vista cruse control any good?

Post by tprender » Sun Sep 22, 2013 5:07 pm

I have an '86 Interstate with no cruse and saw the Vista cruse control that goes around the grip and then to the handlebars, was wondering if this is any good on a wing. I can get it for about $33 from a few places. I used to have the one that pinces the sleeve and was not hot on that model, but the Vista on looks like it would work. Just checking before I buy one.

I use a Universal Vista Cruise on my KLR 650 and it has given years of trouble free service.
"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "

I have used a Vista Cruise throttle lock on my '87 Aspencade for years, but not the Universal model.

The Universal model is too big and clunky looking for my taste.

I use this model Vista Cruise:

It's much smaller, really easy to install, and very simple to use.

You'll like it.
