Replace all the fulids, grease everything, replace the oil and air filters, spark plugs and most importantly the timing belts. I do all of this anytime I buy something new. I have had previous owners swear they did some or all and when I would check in to it they did some or none. This way you know where you stand. Oh and check to if the stator wire are soldered together, if not do it. I would also since the carbs.

Valves should be hydraulic. No need for adjustment

The lifters are hydraulic. No adjustments needed like the previous model Goldwings. Your 'wing is still an infant, you have many years and miles left in her with good and regular maintenance. I'm at 113k miles and still running like new. And yes, definitely replace the timing belts every 50k miles. While you're doing that check the condition of the water pump and anything else you see down there. Enjoy your new bike. ;)
