Attaching a cd player

Postby w4r » Sat Nov 16, 2013 1:57 pm

I would like to know how to attach a cd player into my audio system. My FM and Tape player no longer work. AM is OK. But, due to reception of AM I would like to install a cd player by mounting it in the large trunk. Has anyone done this. I met a fellow ages ago who had done this but wasn't interested at the time - now I am. Can I tie in the audio leads from the player directly to the rear speakers and pick up a power lead from the tail lights. Will this work or is there another method that works???

If you mount it in the trunk and connect it directly to the rear speakers how will you control it?
A better solution would be to hook up an mp3 player to your radio. There is an explanation of how to do that posted here.

If the link does not work do a search for connect mp3 player to gl1200.
