Was wondering if the trunk break light off an 84 would fit an 85. Mine says GoldWing and so does the other. Or are the wiring ends different? Thanks in advance.

I would think so. Both show the part numbers. When in doubt I always look up the part for that year bike and then go to the other year and check that part number. Most of the 84 to 87 GL1200 stuff is interchangeable. Little difference in models except carburation and ignition and 49 vs CA stuff, the SEI because of the fuel system and a few other goodies. Hope this helps. Here is some helpful info.
Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.
