Seat cover for 1200A

Postby wheeln04 » Sat Feb 08, 2014 11:01 pm

Hi has anyone use the seat cover from this web page off e-bay gumtwo out of Canada.
If so, is it a good seat cover? Or would a guy be better to get your seat done in your own town?

He has some VERY nice seats for less than $150 :

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Honda-GL1200-Sea ... mtr&_uhb=1

I have seen some of his seats at Bike Rallies, and heard no complaints.... and he has a 99.6 rating , too.

and he includes installation procedures, as well . I know you could do far worse, if you are up to the installation ..

But its winter... and the sort of guy who does Skidoo, Motorcycle , boat seats will be " Hungry" at this time of year .

About 9 years ago, I removed my seat , and took it to a local " seat Dealer " in the cold and dead of winter.

He sharpened his billing pencil, and then he re-did the cover,
added a gel pad for the pressure points, installed newer light and heavy foam padding lining
... all for about that same cost ..
and I am quite happy with that ...

You pays your money, and you takes your choice, I guess .

Thanks for the info. I went to the local shop and they want $500.00 to do the seat and back rest and the small 2 arm rest on the trunk. :o I will try a other shop. If not I will try the one from Canada.
