It depends on what's causing it to not be able to turn. First thing I'd look at is timing belts. If one of the timing belts is broken, you could have a valve in the way of a piston. Whatever you do, don't try to force it.

As suggested the most likely causes are hydro locked or a dropped valve/broken timing belt.

You need to remove all the spark plugs and then try turning it over by hand, do NOT use the starter motor as it will do serious damage to whatever is blocking the motor..
If removing the spark plugs doesn't allow the engine to rotate, then your next step is to probably remove both cylinder heads..

Sorry to hear it was a valve, but on the bright side it really takes a big bang to damage the head to the point where it needs to be replaced, usually a new valve or a new valve and valve guide will fix the issue. A new head is more expensive but you can find them second hand.. What caused the valve to fail? Was the valve timing out? Valve clearances incorrect? Timing belt broke? Did the collets come out? Did the valve fail where the collets locate? Did you over rev the engine?

Just curious what caused the valve to fail and get bent? has it done much damage to the piston?

Gary
