My question is your bike a Interstate or aspy? The a 84 aspy. had the on board air pump to air the front and rear . On your bike where are you trying to put air in at? If you are trying at the top you should not be getting oil out. If your trying at the bottom of the forks this is the wrong place. If you can post a pic it would help,I had an 84 and still have my 85 both are aspy. So Im not 100% sure on a interstate but someone else may chime in.------------------------Hal

You could see a little oil come out but there should not be much. You may have a leak in your seals letting some of your fork fluid seep up there. Are your front forks holding air or are they leaking down? Probably not a bad idea to rebuild your forks,I would check to see if any fork fluid is leaking out of your fork seals---------good luck------------------Hal
