Fuel Pump

Postby filupsd » Wed Jul 09, 2014 5:37 pm

I ordered and installed the 85 Honda Prelude fuel pump and now I just have to sync the carbs. Here is a question for anyone else that has done this. I did bolt right in to the mounting holes of the old pump but seems to have a lot of movement because of the rubber mounts and tube are about 3/4 in long. Did anyone shorten the tubes so it pulled down more and sat a bit firmer?

When I put the replacement pump on I made some spacers and then used shorter screws.

thank you, I thought it would make sense to do that. The pump is working great but I still have to get my carbs synced
