INSTALLED POOR BOY, WHERE DO I CONNECT WIRES?

I have a 86 aspy sei, bought poor boy 2 yrs ago, stator went out time to convert. i have 8 gauge wire going to pos side of bat.Where do i hook up exciter wire.See pics. thx.

Exciter wire is tied to the switched ignition.
Easiest to locate is the black wire at the original regulator module.
You can just unplug the module and tie right to the harness black wire at the plug.

What is the alternator attached to? I've never seen anything like that before. Does the alternator stay exposed on the front of the engine? Seems like road debris and water would be a problem with it hanging out like that. Hope it works good. How much money and time to install that modification?

this was off of a 1200 ltd at salvage yard 2 yrs ago. 100 bucks. do the same bring out radiator to clear the fan. no problem with debris.

That's pretty cheap. What drives the alternator? Does it turn off the camshaft gear, or did you add a pulley from the crankshaft? It's an interesting looking setup.

Here's a picture of the partial of the computer.Take note that there are 2@ 30 amp fuses...One for the charging system and the other for the computer stuff.There's also 2 other fuses and relays involved in this too.
Does the fuel system light on the dash work?
