Fuel Level liquid crystal display

Post by cmccaughan » Sun Jul 13, 2014 7:32 pm

Hello, my name is Charlie, I live in Buda Texas. I recently purchased a 1986 GL1200A Aspencade out of Missouri. The liquid crystal display showed a full tank. I've had the bike for 2 day know and love my Aspencade. The liquid crystal fuel display went from reading 3/4 full to 1/8 full after being parked for about 2 hours.

See if you can get a stiff wire to reach inside your fuel tank's level float and see if you can make the display change by moving the float up and down.
