PANASONIC RADIO DIFFERENCES?

Postby rosey1 » Thu May 27, 2010 8:04 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew what the difference is between the Panasonic RM-1100 and the RM-1200? I recently fried the 1200 and was wondering if a 1100 would fit in its' place? Is one merely a two channel and the other a four channel? Any help would be appreciated. Thx

:) Yes Rosey the 1100 will fit/work in the 1200s place ! I have all the models the 1100,1200,1300 and they all interchange The only difference I see is the pushbuttons are chrome. And there might be a small difference internaly since the 1200 was designed to work with 4 speakers LTD/SEI. But you will be ok using it. I called Sierra Electronics and asked the same question and did not get a straight answer :D Heck my LTD had a 1100 on it when I bought it ,it worked good but I change it because I knew it was supposed to have the chrome buttons. I couldn't tell any difference in performance  Just asking ,hpw did you fry your 1200 anyway ?
