Hose question on carbs

Postby made2care » Mon Jul 28, 2014 5:00 pm

So I painstakingly took a lot of pics of the carb assembly prior to removal. I also labelled everything accordingly. I'm getting ready to reinstall and just have one hose that I need to identify on where to go. I made sure to label this one too. When I removed the assembly , this hose shown by the blue pen in the pic was only connected to the carb assembly on one end and not connected to anything on the other end.
Any help would be appreciated. Is it just a vent hose? Notice in the pic that only one carb has this hose attached with a small metal elbow. The hose is almost 2 ft in length too.

If this is a 1200,look to the ignition module for a 1/8" hose.it has a "T" with one line plugged for testing.
If its a 1100,it connects to the vacuum advance canister on the back of the engine.
