Hooking an iPhone or aux input to stereo

Postby Linc » Sun Aug 10, 2014 1:01 pm

Its been driving me nuts, my stereo sucks, the tape deck doesn't work, not that you can find tapes easily and they're limited in their play, ( Gawd, we are so spoiled now ), so I wanted to have a different option. so I started searching for ideas, GOOGLE Time! I come across a post from a fella that goes by the handle "jwhitmore44" back in 2010 he posted on another site about hooking in an input line into the tape deck side of the stereo, so out comes the deck, open the back find the appropriate wires he described, solder in the connections, and "voila" I now can hook my mp3 or iPod, iPhone, and any other devise to the stereo. Yahoo! Thanks jwitmore44

I installed a Bluetooth device to mine....when I want to play off my phone I push the button for tape which turns on the Bluetooth and play music and I still have the factory stereo.
