turn singal/brake light sensor

does any one know how to fix a bad sensor (turn signal/brake light) 4 a 1987 Honda gl1200a dash light stays on all the time bulbs are good and check all wires so the sensor must be bad?

no just a light bar that run off it own fuse and ass. power and relay

So that light bar, is not connected in any way (even the relay) to the existing lighting circuits?

correct at 1 time the 1st owner hooked u a ton of lights to the brake lights and turn signals off the rear saddle bags taillights
I fix all the cut wires reinstalled the one light bar there was a total of 25 lights hooked up to the rear of this bike he even melted
a 25 am fuse in the fuse box I check all the wires running from the fuse box and find none burned so I think it must be the sensor but
cannt find one??? any help please that dash light drives me crazy

You may want to contact a salvage yard for one. Try www.straightwings.com they have a lot of items listed for the 1200.
