gl1200 Manual

Postby wolfer14 » Tue Sep 16, 2014 11:31 am

I had a guy give me part of a manual in PDF (a chapter) I was so impressed with how detailed it was and that it even gave you options, if you didn't own the special tool from honda. I wrote the guy back and he said that he thinks it came from a Clymer Service Manual. I was on this site and saw the "Goldwing GL1200 Clymer Service Manual-16ECC.pdf" But it just redirects you to another page? any thoughts.

If you use Google, you can find "free" downloadable copies of most anything on the planet. It depends on how thoroughly you search, I suppose, but I've managed to find manuals for GL1000, GL1100, GL1200 and parts manuals for all three, as well as a supplemental manual on "Goldwing" Limited Fuel Injection for the GL1200...

I expect you can find the same if you search for something like: GL1200 manual download .pdf ... I think that's how I found them.
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.

Looks like it's no longer download able. Any chance you have an extra copy of it?

I have a scanned copy of a couple of different GL1200 manuals. If you PM me your email address, I'll TRY to email a copy to you. It MAY be too large to send, but I will try to do it as soon as I get your address.

Hi, Can I have also a copy.
I bought in Ebay the CLYMER HONDA in paper, but a Pdf version would help when away from home.
I will send you a PM if you like.
Thank you very much in advance

I don't know what the other member has. I don't have the Clymer Manual.

IS there such a thing as a shop manual for the Honda mechanic? That is what I would like to get my hands on. I have a Clymer manual but I find it not detailed enough and the pictures are poor at best.

Absolutely, and the Honda manuals are far superior to the Clymer manuals. Look here: http://goldwingdocs.com/HelmManual.asp?SKU=61ML950AH

Thank you for the info - after sending that post and the fact that this forum is such a wealth of info I went looking further and found the Helm link and have ordered. Should have looked first - will do next time for sure
Thanks again
