where to purchase bulb

Postby Wilecoyote » Sat Oct 18, 2014 7:50 pm

I noticed my side marker light out. The one that sits next to the headlight. It's a t4w bulb but have not found one locally. I tried a few auto parts stores with no luck. Thought about modifying the house to hold the bayonet blade style as they are easier to find. Any thoughts of where to check?

I did a search but I didn't use the term "position light". I found an A-72 bulb at the local battery and bulb place that fit it both the socket and the housing. I had seen the LED online and was considering them but was looking for a quick fix. Thank you for your replies.

some time ago I replaced the position 4 watt bulbs with a 6 watt halogen bulb, and it brightened the output considerably.

the bulb is a snug fit, and i needed to nip one of the lugs off, but they work well with no problems caused.
