disregard my previous response. I should never reply to a message while I'm half asleep... it was 2 & 4 that I had trouble with.. not 3 & 4

Please accept my aplogy.

I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.

If coils have been checked and OK then pulse generators must be checked. Pulse is the signal that fires the coil. If coils were swapped and problem remains with cylinders 3 & 4 then pulse is first suspect.
Fuel pump relay is on same coil feed as your problem. Bad relay could bleed off signal, not found with coil removed from circuit.

Check the fuel filter and pump, it might not be getting fuel.
While checking the pulse generators did you check tat timing marks lined up.

Plugs will suffer as much from lean as from rich. Check plugs against this chart for a better direction.

I would definitely check out the crank position sensors under the timing belt covers. Check the clearances and continuity, connections, etc.

If coils voltage is OK and then coils were swapped and problem persist with the same cylinders it's starting to look like a broken wire. Double check pulse generator as it is the signal for coil to fire.
