Hi up there in Milica. What kind of radio is in your Interstate now? Reason I ask is, I don't believe the gl1200i was equipped with a radio from the factory. I know my '87 Interstate didn't have one. I have a shallow chassis after-market stereo beneath the gauges, where the factory radio on the 1200 Aspencade would have been mounted.

Hello.. Thanks for your reply. It is a Panasonic am/fm with cassette player. Cuts out all the time and it must come on the bike I believe because when I googled it others said they had same issue with theirs. One guy said he swapped his out with a 1 din non CD player MF102BT he got on eBay but I can't find one anywhere so am looking for other suggestions.

The MF102BT was marketed by Gearflag, but I don't think it is a current model. There are many single din radios on Ebay, including Gearflag, that could be mounted in a gl1200. You would likely have to also buy a mounting adapter to make it look nice.
