is it the tail light or brake light sensor your looking for? are you sure it is a sensor and not a relay?

well, you have 3 choices here, first and obvious would be to try and find another sensor, 2nd, remove the bulb that's is lit on the dash, 3rd, take a piece of black electrical tape and cover the spot on your dash where the bulb is lit. in the mean time, im trying to see if I can locate one for you. i'll send you a link for it once I find one. I love doing research so i'll see if I can find it for you.

well, so far I found only 1 website that shows a lot of the wiring and relays for your bike, but no sensors, hence the question is it a sensor or a relay that your looking for. that makes a big difference in what im looking for.

is there any way you can take a photo of it and post it here so I have a better idea of what im searching for?

there is one more solution for your dash light, while the bike is on,(key in the "on" position) go into your fuse box and see which fuse is for that light and take the fuse out, but make sure its the fuse that runs that light only and nothing else.

You may want to contact a salvage yard for the part, I had seen one listed at www.straightwings.com they are out of Canada.
Steve's Cycle Salvage may have one www.stevescyclesalvage.com

ok, here's what I found. the OEM part # is......35550MG9771, and it can be found on........http://www.cmsnl.com their part number is..........HO00S2.8085

if this is the part your talking about, it has only 7 pins not 9 pins. if you want, you can call this parts supply house and ask them if this is the correct part your looking for before you purchase it.

it can also be found on.........http://www.partzilla.com using the OEM part number.

ok, then your best bet is to call one of the two parts suppliers I gave you and ask them about it. so far, the only ones I've see has the 7 pins on it, nothing with 9 pins. sorry.
