Just can't stop...and maybe showing off a little

Some of you know I've been "cleaning-up" this 86 aspy I bought. I got the rear all rebuilt and worked my way up to the engine. Once I had it out I decided to work over the wiring mess under the shelter, as some of you saw in the post - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26451
Well after that turned out pretty fair I thought maybe I would just take the fairing off, strip it and go through all its wiring as well, so now the bike that was supposed to be a quick clean up looks like this -

Ok now for the little bit of show off part, well I think it's pretty cool anyway, I know that there are a few of these around still but pretty hard to come across. I found one in UK at cms for 41euro plus shipping, so about 65 - 70 bucks, they only have one. I see lots of places show they have them until you try to buy it then you get an email saying your money has been reimbursed. So anyway, its the ignition switch contact base. I got an N.O.S. in box for about 27 bucks with shipping.

Now, I did take my old one apart, it had very dirty contacts so after sanding on a flat surface the base plate and cleaning the floating contacts it looks good as new, now it's a spare.
So in the end not a big deal, hardly worth all this diatribe but I think a brand new ignition switch for a 29 year old bike is a good thing.

thanks, its been alot of fun. I think I like the build part as much or more than using whatever it is I'm tinkering with.
