I have a 86 GL 1200 Aspencade Trike.
Just had triple tree rebuilt new neck bearings new bearings in front rim & a brand new front tire. It still has a shimmy from 20-30 MPH. Any ideas?

Did you do the bearings and tire to solve a shimmy in the first place? If so what was the last thing done before you noticed the shimmy. Maybe take a look there. Was the bead seat cleaned before the new tire went on?, that turned out to be the problem on one bike I owned. Consider Dyna Beads, as a balancing alternative, never heard anything bad about them for solving balance problems, though I`ve not used them.

I have a 93 GW trike that I bought last Oct, so I'm still getting used to it. I had some of the shimmy your talking about ( also known as head shake ) I put new rear tires on it in dec.and that helped a lot,l also changed the pressure in the front tire an that helped also. From what I have read on the forums it's hard to get rid of all of it. You may try changing tire pressures an help it some. Good luck with it!

Your headshake at that speed would indicate to me you do not have a rake kit????? Trikes without rake kits tend to do that at the speeds you mentioned.
