Anyone know where to locate a fork spring removal tool? Tried top locate on Cyclemax via part number and description. Nothing comes up. It was reccommended on the how to article forum but must be out moded on Cyclemax. Thanks for any help.

Hi. I followed the link in the gl1500 fork rebuild DIY article, input the part number (07KMF-MT20300) and it gave the part name and price. You can proceed directly to checkout from there. The link does not take you to the top level page of Cyclemax, and a search from the home page is not successful, as you found out.

After going to that page, the same thing happened as the first time. The link goes to Cyclemax but the part number doesn't connect through.

You really don't need a tool to remove them. Just be very careful when you back the nut out of the fork because of the pressure. WingAdmin posted a link for the tool, but when I checked it out, it was $168. I think it was directly from Honda. Search the forum and you're bound to find it.

I agree that the tool is expensive and not necessary. Many members on this forum have removed the caps with improvised tools/procedures.
