Passenger Comfort Ideas Wanted

Postby sportsfreaked » Sat Apr 11, 2015 4:12 pm

Can folks give me ideas on how to make my wife more comfortable as the passenger please. Are there highway pegs for the passenger? I have the 1985 Limited Edition. I know about the air pad things for her butt, but I thought maybe someone may have ideas on this subject. As always thanks for the knowledge. Ed

Ed,
Floorboards are much more comfortable than pegs. I believer your bike comes with the passenger floor boards. Peg tend to lock your feet/legs in a position and they stay that way most of the ride. Just what I have found out with my years of riding. Thought I would share this item. Good Luck.

Chuck thanks for the reply. Yea she has floor boards you are correct with that. I thought I had seen a bike with passenger type highway boards or pegs just something that would allow her to stretch her legs out I guess is what I was thinking of. Do the arm rests make any noticeable difference for passengers? Thanks for any and all input. I guess I could just leave her home  . Ed

see if you can find a trunk set back kit, it will give her a few more inches between you and her, she will feel less cramped back there

I can't add too much more, as for arm rests, I truly don't know as I never had them and the wife doesn't ride anymore. I have seen some type of heel support for newer Wings. You may want to research floorboards and see what may or may not be available as an add on. Good Luck.
