My 1200 interstate does not cancel the directional lights automatically. The hazard works and the directional work but to cancel them you have to bring the turn lever back to the center position somewhat to stop the directional. What can I do to fix this and if there is a relay that needs to be replaced where is it? Thank you.

Mine has a small solenoid inside the switch assembly on the left handlebar. Similar to the old head positioner in the 8-track players. If the circuit is working correctly it uses input from the speedometer and the lean sensor to energize the cancel solenoid. Try cleaning and lubing everything in there. Listen for a distinct "click" just after a turn.
