7 volt regulator question

Postby wlkjr » Sat May 02, 2015 9:34 pm

I noticed that the 7 volt regulator only goes to 1984. Did it change for 85-87 models to something else?

It is only used in the GL1100-style analog gauges (two round gauges with lights between). GL1200's used a different system that did not use a 7 volt regulator, except for the 1984 GL1200 Standard, which used GL1100-style gauges.
