I did mine for around $300.00, best mod I've done to the bike.
No more electrical issues what so ever, turn the key and go!

Did mine for $ 45. Used alternator and 3 3/4 pulley and welded a bracket. It's a lot of work but worth it in the end. The hardest part was cutting the horn mount out and grinding it down. Cheers

Does anybody have a picture of the pulley/spacer and how it attaches to the crank? Also what size if pulley is being used? I've looked everywhere and have been unable to find anything. Lots of pictures about mounting the alternator but little else.

No problem man, the only thing I will add is this,, the large washer keeper that's under the crank bolt on the front side of the crank need to be modified, the hole needs to be enlarged to fit the spacer so it goes back where it was originally... Somewhat like this... This was a homemade spacer I made before I had a machinist in San Antonio make a solid one... I used a socket LOL, it worked until I had one made... :lol: :lol:
