That seems to be a pretty good price for a 1200 Voyager trike. I've seen them go for a lot more.

i personally don't care for the training wheel trikes (doesn't that make it a car?it has 4 wheels) it would be worth it if it was a real trike conversion

The "training wheel trikes" are good for one reason - if you want to take the "training wheels" off, it's a couple of bolts to remove, it slides off, and you're back on two wheels again.

Someone who is confident riding on their own, but not confident riding with a passenger. I saw a 1200 with one of those kits on it at a bike night a couple weeks ago, and that's exactly what he said: when his wife is on the back, it's triked, and she's happy. When he's out on his own, the trike kit stays at home.

I too, wonder how you see so many older bikes with such low mileage. So today I took apart a speedometer to see what makes it tick, and how easy was it to turn back the mileage. This speedometer was from a 1982 Goldwing and the trip assy was missing so one could not zero the trip mileage. But every thing else was in tact.
I got out my variable speed drill and stuck in a small shaft to turn the input gear. I had the drill running clock wise, and it didn't take long I reversed the mileage. I hope this is not the practice by many, but I just had to see for my self.

Some one will say that mileage is no big thing with these wings i'm sure. But the reason I did take it apart to see if I could do it
was I bought a used speedometer, and wanted to turn it back to my older one which had 25 thousand less miles. Now I know it can be done.

Yeah, thanks.
Now I can reset my '76 odometer back from 62,000 to the 39k and change that were on the '78 that croaked 6 months after I got it. :D :ugeek:

I gotta say no.

You can get those Voyager kits for less than 5 grand.
And is an '82 worth that much with out the kit? Probably not.

so lets say maybe 6500 to 7k.

You know it isn't worth what he wants, it's worth what some one will buy it for.
I saw a nationwide race car complete with running race engine, decals and numbers go for $17,500 last week on the LA edition of Barret-Jackson.
