Interchangable Radio?

Postby mryan60 » Thu Jun 18, 2015 8:33 pm

I have a 1985 GL1200L Limited. Can anyone tell me if I can use a radio from either the Aspencade or Interstate?

There were 6 models of the Panasonic GL1200 audio units, RM1100 - RM1400. If the FM is bad the RM1100 and RM1200 are repairable but the later units. RM1300 and up, had a processor that is not available and thus basically junk. The interstate never had an OEM radio installed.
Hope this helps and if any questions please feel free to call Jeff at Sierra.
