hey all!

Postby Long Hair » Mon Jun 22, 2015 10:36 pm

Been a while since I was here and thought I should check in. I have been looking through the manuals trying to figure out how to install my hondaline CB on my 1200ltd with the type 3 radio. Cant seem to figure it out. Also have some J&M parts that came with it but with no numbers on them.

it's really not hard, I just installed one in my bike, here is the manual - http://www.lillerolf.com/Manuals/GL1200-7.PDF
if you had no cb from factory you will need a few things, 1-cb transiver, 2-multichanger box (goes in front of radio amp), 3-junction box (goes under auto volume control behind cb), you may have this if you had intercom system, 4- antenna splitter,5- wire harness from cb out to mutichanger, (it may have come with your cb, I had to buy an extra multichanger because it had the harness on it). you should have all the rest already on the bike. just follow the book and follow the color coded plugs.
Any problems wiring feel free to message me and I will try to help.
