Speed sensor install help

Has any of my brothers and sisters riders ever installed a speed sensor. I need to known ow to line th any of my brothers and sisters riders ever installed a speed sensor. I need to know r tabs on the sensor with the ones in the bearing. Do they just rest all one another or does the sensor tabs go behind the clip on the wheel. Need to have back on road for the ride this weekend

Sorry but I've only done a few of the mechanical ones...on mine,the wheel had a ring with 2 tabs sticking outward...the gearbox that the sped hooked to also had a ring with tabs..I fitted mine so the tabs were opposite each other.If the wheel tab set on the drive gear tab,the drive gear wouldn't easily fit back on the wheel.
I slid the axle through and fitted the gearbox,rotating it till it slid into place.Always checking for binding before securing the axle nut and even after assembly...then fit the sensor the same way.Perhaps this picture may help..

Yea mine is set up the same way. What do u mean u put tabs opposite each other, cause the repair manual said to line them up. Is it supposed kinda work like a gear? 1-tab rest right beside the other making the other turn

Like a gear.i think if its aligned on top,it would bend or break one when it's squashed together.
I did put a bit of grease in there too.

I sure appreciate the info and all the help. I believe I got it back together this morning. Just havnt rode to c if it works. I took out and cleaned it it's not working but everything seem to be good just cake the dirt,sand,grease mix that got where not letting spin all the way. Anyway thank u!!
