1200 oil pressure switch

Postby flash1942 » Mon Jun 29, 2015 3:12 pm

Are the threads on the 1200 pressure switch common(in reference to threads) to all similar pressure switches out there? Any suggestions on what brand of switch I can safely use outside of Honda?

I would suggest removing the switch, take it to auto parts store. They can tell you the threads and possibly the setting on the switch. Then they can recommend another replacement. Doesn't have to be Hondaline, just a working generic with the same settings and thread sizes. Give it a try, surely will be less expensive without the Honda name on it, as they don't make just have it made by a company and then put their name on it.
