Looks like an issue. If it was mine I'd clean it off and if it comes back in a few days then you would know for sure.
Not telling u to test it by the taste method but anti freeze has a sweet taste.

Sorry but yes it sure looks like it. Probable bad head gasket. Needs to be addressed before your trip.

Anti freeze leak confirmed. So I'm assuming this is the head gasket. Anyone tackled this job, how much does it involve, time to replace. Difficulty level?
thanks for your help.p.s. there is no white smoke out of pipes, so probably a pinhole. Any fix without having to replace gasket?

I noticed a "how to" on this for an 1100. could i use this as a reference for the 1200? slight variances I'm sure.

Don't assume anything. It probably is the head gasket, but make sure it's not something higher up that's leaking, running down and dripping off looking like it's coming out of the gasket.I've seen this lots of times in the auto trade.Guy sees oil running off the back of the oil pan and assumes it's the rear main or the pan gasket only to find after he replaces what he assumed was the issue that he had an intake leak running down the back of the engine and dripping off of the pan.Just be careful with your diagnosis is all I'm saying.Things aren't always as they appear.

If I'da known it would last this long,I'da taken better care of it.
