GL 1200 Antenna

Postby Redwinger8 » Sun Jul 19, 2015 12:10 am

I don't own a garage so I cover My 1986 GL1200 every night and was really frustrated with having to remove my Antennas every time. Then I went on a camping trip with my cousin and watched him fold his 2006s Gold wing antennas down and throw his cover on  needles to say now I'm on a quest to solve this pain in my arse. anyone got any fixes don't want to reinvent the wheel :o

Thanks and be safe out there

My 1200 factory antenna folds down. The replacement antenna does too. The top of the nut, the furled part unscrews, lift up and there is the hinge. http://wingstuff.com/products/3646-type-3-radio-cb-antenna-for-gl1100-gl1200?from_search=1
