Rear Master cylinder rebuild?

Postby twocams » Sun Oct 18, 2015 4:11 pm

Im going to start looking at my 85 1200A in a week or so. Noticed the rear brake pedal goes clear down. Fluid reservoir is full of fluid no visable leaks. I would say the rear master is by passing inside. But havent looked that close yet. Im I all "wet" or am I getting close to the problem. Been sitting for 5 yrs now. I only see rebuild kits I guess no new ones are available?

thanks
Rich

First flush and bleed your brakes. Your problem could be as simple as air in the lines and old brake fluid.
