Trunk light connector

Postby WingAdmin » Thu Oct 22, 2015 8:33 am

I'm trying to diagnose a problem with an aftermarket wiring harness for GL1200 trunk lights.

I need someone with a GL1200 to have a look at the 6-pin connector that runs the trunk lights. It's the connector that looks like this:

I believe that only 5 of the 6 connectors have actual connections. What I'm looking for is a picture of this connector, so that I can identify which color wire goes into which pin. Can any GL1200 owner help me out?

I think this is the one here. Its a 5 wire. Think the other is for tail lites.

You know, I went through a lot of trouble to get these pics. In a snow storm, up hill, barefooted. Just to find out my battery in camera was low. Went home looked for 5 min. for new battery. Then went back for the same ordeal. So did these pictures help or not? Enquiring minds need to know.

Sorry, you posted on the Thursday and I actually headed out of town on Friday and got back late last night (it was a cold ride!!). Looking at the pics, this is exactly what I need, so yes, thanks!
