Crank shaft timing marks what angle

I got my new timing belts on and turned over several times...without problems. But at what angle do you look to get the crank shaft timing marks lined up. I cant get a straight look see at marks. Leaning over the saddle from the right side looks more inline than from the left side. Is there any easy way..or better way to align the timing marks on the crank hole. I have replaced 10 timing belts on cars but the marks are always clear.

When I replace timing belts on cars and I can't get a straight on look I use a mirror.
I lot of dodge 4 cyl engines you can't get them lined up right without using a mirror.
