Look at these wires

The fairing is off and starting to get at all the wires, Well, look what I found. These wires are for the clock, two of them are severed, the other two have the copper wires exposed. Now it makes sense as to why the clock lights up, but no LCD readout.

Next picture are the radio plug in wires, you can also see that someone did muck around with them before I got to them. More to be done.

Just one of the joys of going through after someone, but I feel your frustration.
I've ranted here before about some of the things that the PO had done on a previous bike and a lot of people chimed in with some of their stories.
Mine didn't sound so bad after hearing theirs.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood!
