Need some info regarding the damper spring that fits in the end of the driveshaft where it mates with the final drive unit. Have gone through the parts fiche (including the 1500) and cannot find any mention of it, but I know it is and was there when I took it apart. Have looked through the garage, but a spring can be anywhere. Since it is not an item covered in the parts fiche, does any one know the dimensions of this damper spring. I would expect the spring rate to be negligible. Any help would be appreciated.

Thought I was the only one that those type of things. But usually about the size of a dime. I lost something the other day, looked high and low for 30 min.got flashlight out even. Told my girlfriend about it. She said i'll go to shop and help you look, sure baby what ever. She walks into the shop and in 2 min. says is this it." Ok, just go back in the house and do the dishes" I said. That was it bless her heart.
I also had only one 10mm open box wrench and couple 10mm sockets. Everything I worked on for about 2 weeks I need a 10mm open/box. Could never find that darn wrench in my toolbox drawer. So I went to Sears and bought 3 more. So now I have 2 ratchet types and 2 regular open/box 10mm. Hmmmm, seems like I can always find one now. :o True story.

You are not alone in the universe. You didn't do the dishes?
