It always depends on how deep the scratches are. If you can feel them with your finger nail they aren't coming out. But may lighten them up some. I use Turtlewax polishing compound NOT Rubbing compound its to harsh and has abrasives. Then put a nice coat of wax . The pin stripping maybe a heat gun? I would go to an Auto paint store where they sell the paint/ not where they put it on ( Body shop). Thats not an Auto Zone or house paint shop but auto paint store they have all kinds of fofo.

For scratches you can see but not feel I always found toothpaste works .. Its a very gentle polishing compound ....
and it will reduce tooth decay and gingivitis on your saddlebags .... LOL

If its deeper , , but not all the way thru, they make a polish in various colours that lightens the look considerably...

If it really deep .. heavy sigh .. I think its called " sandpaper "... and a repaint

There are rubber wheels that go in a rotating tool (dremel, drill, etc) that will strip pinstriping right off - but not if the pinstriping is underneath a clearcoat, which is the case for Honda OEM pinstriping. In that case, the clearcoat has to be sanded off, the pinstriping removed, and a repaint/re-clearcoat applied.
